As they say, divided we fall, united we stand, After 2008 General election in Pakistan PPP led by famous Mr.10% of corruption Asif Ali Zardari party came into power in Pakistan with major vote bank in National Assembly and Provincial Assemblies of Sindh, NWFP (now known as KP), Baluchistan and Punjab. PPP made govt in all provinces of Pakistan, though after approximately 3 years, they were removed from the folds of Punjab Govt due to differences with PMLN over governance, Punjab was the only province where PPP lack simple majority though still managed to bagged 25 – 30 % of Punjab vote bank. Pakistan is a country which lacks in education and educated people that’s why as soon as PPP came into power they removed the clause of being graduated MNA,MPA from the constitution of Pakistan which paved the way for fake degree holders and uneducated people into to assemblies of Pakistan who will be writing the fate of 35% of educated Pakistanis and so as 65% uneducated Pakistani’s through constitution of Pakistan which is supreme so as Judiciary though most of the time a circus being played b/w the two and watched by whole Pakistan who is supreme and when is supreme. The point of the post is to highlight how this democratically elected govt of PPP has divided Pakistan and Pakistanis into ethnic/linguistic basis and has pushed Pakistan into corners of darkness surrounded by called and uncalled evils
1) After 62 years of no concrete and logical movement by any party PPP govt changed the name of one of the province from NWFP to KP (Khyber Pakthunkhwa). This name changed is done purely on the basis of linguistic and ethnic lines resulting in divide among the other dialects in NWFP province.
2) People in the city of Karachi are more divided among ethnic lines than ever before after being backed by PPP for major foot step in next elections. After this political game of ethnic hatred incited by PPP, Karachi is facing a major violence in its history where the violence has become daily routine but occasionally the peace visits the city too when a statement is issued from GHQ or Army Chief regarding deteriorating situation in the city.
3) The new demand of PPP is to make new province in Punjab, demand of new provinces are in no way illogical keeping in mind the population of Punjab but again the idea behind is to divide the province on linguistic and ethnic basis i.e giving way to division among common Pakistani who are sick and tired of being called Mohajir read Indian, Sindhi, Baloch, Pathan, Saraiki and so on.
4) In my opinion when it is a matter of state prosperity, the state should dictate terms to people and that should have happened with Local Government System in Pakistan which certainly helps and helped during 2000 – 2008 in bringing new people into politics i.e at Union Council level and results in election then selection of approximately 85,000 local government representative across Pakistan, though PPP govt led by Mr.10% Asif Ali Zardari chooses to transfer this power to Provinces which abolished the local Govt system and chooses to continue with Commissionaire System
5) Since PPP govt came into power every year flood seems to be the destiny of Pakistan into rural and some urban areas where every year the water pour into the villages of poor people and no concrete policy of building barrages has been adopted yet by PPP.
6) Power shortage and PPP corrupt deal on rental power plant is clearly visible when Rental Power Plant from Turkey is standing on the coast of Karachi being not utilized and common Pakistani’s paying the price of 10 million to their staff, maintenance and contract cost.
The list of PPP govt incompetency and evil plans to divide Pakistanis is long but one can only feel disappointed that these elected people are not only corrupt but their politics of dividing common Pakistani’s into ethnic and linguistic basis is resulting in more and more venom against common people and certainly resulting in more and more Pakistani’s to flee the country.

As far as MQM is concern i think they are having a tough time either you say they are lacking political wisdom as compared to their opponents or something is wrong with their policy making but i think they have some very smart voices and analysts with in and since 1989 elections their vote bank has continuously increased in each and every election, i expect them to emerge as largest political party in Sindh in next election which is why we are listening lot of hue and cry about so called demographics change in Karachi, but they need to take some political parties on board except PPP =)

This is reason of formation of NRO and creation of new version of PPP.

If somebody has money more than enough as it is shown by luxurious expenditures of Musharraf than you think he or she can spent it on ” political boosting” only for recapturing his ex status

He could be top banker? or top stock investor of Pakistan or top class social worker
He can eliminate poverty from Pakistan through many investments which he owns .

/ October 12, 2011well that is one side of the obsessive picture, the tiny 25,000 dollars you are mentioning is not even 0.00001% of Sharifs, Zardaris wealth whom ppl vote religiously. Do also research about Musharraf Villa in UK i.e 2 bed room flat, do also research APML office in UK were closed due to non payments of rent, do also research how much he earned through lectures, do also research how much money ppl can throw on him from parts of Pakistan especially from Karachi and also overseas Pakistanis, (i bet you the figure is in billions) in my opinion Musharraf provided economic prosperity to Pakistan during his tenure as compared to Not so Sharifs,Bhutto’s and Zardari’s. Since he is leading a political party, Political boosting is part of politics and every party has right to do it, whether abroad or local, also if we take a close look at events and statements after recent threats from US, Musharraf was one of the few who conveyed and defended Pakistan better than currently people sitting in Islamabad and GHQ.

/ October 13, 2011i am not saying Military is not corrupt, the common man knows that, the very basic example might be of purchasing a house in DHA scheme compare to district govt, certainly you have to pay more amount in DHA for legalizing and finalizing papers for your LEGAL property. What i am saying Musharraf regime was better than previous regimes in term of foreign policy, Economic decision making, Local govt implementation which helped common man to become councilor, deputy mayor and mayor etc, Power infrastructure(certainly decision to build dams is far better than RPPS). the list is long. Thanks for your input though.

It is not me but time and Musharraf himself proved him as” runaway general “or in desi slang as Bhagora.He did it twice once he made kargil moved and then after his exit.
Did you ask yourself why he left Pakistan when all of his team who raided Fata, lal mosque or waziristan are living in Pakistan. why he did so in your point of view?
By the way he didn’t close UK office for some financial upsets but he did it as he unexpectedly lost support of his UK friends and some officials now he is pleading to Arabs for restoring his status for safe comeback and that is why he picked UAE.
For running office in UK it cost him more than his thoughts as his all followers demanded family packages for running his campaign and he had to bear all so he picked comparatively cheap option fo gathering his friends in greed in Dubai.

To make it clear, i am one of those who were in favor of Lal Mosque operation, Fata and Waziristan. As far as running away indeed he did stupid political mistake of putting emergency on 3rd nov but that can be studied in detail who wanted to get rid of him, certainly the man in uniform again =) You are entitled to your opinion about him but i don’t agree with it since i don’t base my research and analysis based on political blogs and biased analysts on media who run agenda campaigns.

So I would tell you they all are spread in all Pakistan under the supervision of their real master.I can tell you that lal mosque team has been spread in various mosque of Rawalpindi area .You would be surprise to hear that most of them are doing services in Bahria town mosque and wife of cleric who killed are successfully running her medressah in safari bungalows.These mosques and medressahs are near to modern living styles where wine and women activities are quite visible but here none of them dare to challenge it bcoz they all need typical order to create mess on the name of religion as they did in Islamabad before execution of such forceful attack ordered by Musharraf.
So I just mean to say that dictators have no long term planning or solution for curbing social problems related to difference of religious themes in any community. once zia banned red light area and citizens saw that these prostitutes and its business were spread to all post localities of our cities and when musharf did this to mullahs they just changed their locations but didn’t leave their unlawful attitude .
We dont need to trust on reports of blogs but I am resident of affected areas and seeing well the situation.

/ October 17, 2011you have a point, between i was very much permanently settled in Pakistan till 2007 =) i like to be myself and i am one of those who are in favor of any operation where govt writ is challenged, though indeed political solution is always the best solution but solution by force cannot be criticized as well where some handful of people try to dictate false terms to sitting govt. Every regime has it’s pros and cons, may be i am one of those who highlights all the pros of Musharraf regime. In our society Social problems related to difference of religion is ignited for political gains hence it is in the best interest to educate people whom to select, and it will only happen by experience where the common people will themselves choose to become councilor, Mayor and face the harsh realities of managing some people and their daily problems and that can be achieved through strong local government system.
